Q: What is carob?

A: Carob is derived from an evergreen tree cultivated in warm climates. Carob is native to the eastern Mediterranean, where it has been cultivated for thousands of years. Since carob is free from caffeine and has much less fat than chocolate, it is a safe, healthy alternative.

 Q: Do you use preservatives in your dog treats and are the ingredients safe for dogs?

A:  All of our dog treats are baked fresh in our dog bakery using wholesome ingredients with no added preservatives, additives, sugar or salt. We use the finest quality baking ingredients, using only ingredients that are safe for your pet including treat decorations made with carob or yogurt (no chocolate is ever used). For specific ingredients used in each of our wholesome dog treats, go to the treat's item description in our online store where the ingredients are listed for each particular treat.

Q: Can I personalize a gourmet dog treat with my dog's name?

A: YES! You can personalize any large sized dog bone with your dog's name for FREE! Just send us an e-mail with your order with the name you would like on the bone (maximum of ten letters).

Q: What if my order arrives damaged or I am unsatisfied with my products?

A: Luna Dog Bakery stands behind all our products 100% and if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please contact us immediately after receiving your order for online store credit or replacement instructions.

We guarantee our products 100%. If you are not satisfied for any reason, we will refund the cost of the product you are not satisfied with (less shipping), or replace the product to make it right. Without happy customers, we cannot be successful, and we want all our dogs to be satisfied!
 
We bake all of our treats fresh, so treat orders will be shipped within a week of ordering. It will normally be between 2 or 3 days, but depending on volume of orders, it could be 4 to 5 days. If this is a concern or you need your order by a specific date, please let us know and we will try to  accommodate your request.
